How much Mass Effect is too much Mass Effect?

Hey all, Aggroe here!

I've been swamped this week! Just been working a lot so I'm exhausted, I also adopted a cat who's pretty whiny and hates not being pet at all times, so she's been keeping me up ALL NIGHT! So sorry I didn't post yesterday or the day before, but I'm good to go now and I have a three day weekend so tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday I will for sure post something :)

I'll start off with the 30-day challenge, so without any further ado...

Here's day 3: a game that's underrated!

I have a hard time with this one too. There are so many good games out there that aren't necessarily popular, but are still fantastic! I would probably have to pick Katamari Damacy though. It's pretty wild, wacky, colorful, and absolutely ridiculous but satisfyingly so!
If you still aren't convinced, go ahead and check out this video, of the intro. Go ahead, I'll wait.

...

Welcome back! So story wise, the King of All Cosmos (the man featured in the video with too-tight tights) knocks all the stars and planets out of the sky, and YOU, his son (the Prince of All Cosmos), must fix his mistake!
By rolling things up on Earth, you create planets and stars to replace the old ones. I really love the literal translation of the title, because in English the literal meaning of "Katamari Damacy (Damashii if properly written) is "Round Soul Clump".

If you haven't played this game, I recommend checking it out for sure! It sounds dumb but it's actually fairly challenging in later levels and a lot of fun!

Aaand now day 4: my guilty pleasure game!

For this category, it's not that tough to pick. The game is: Monster Girl Quest!
I actually love this game so much that I named my snake after the main lamia; Alipheese Fateburn the 16th. (We call her Alice for short though, just like the game). I don't actually want to give much away, but what I can tell you is it's kind of funny how I stumbled upon this game.

Initially, it was curiosity and slight disgust. "How in the hell can people have a fetish for this, isn't it just a step above furries?" It turned into mild enjoyment. "Huh, the way this game works is actually really nice, a cool twist on rpgs with higher stakes, has fantastic dialogue and a hilariously dumb main character, and it's actually, dare I say it, kinda sexy in a weird way that makes me slightly uncomfortable". Once I hit the end of the second game though, and the FULL story was revealed, I fell in love with the characters and noticed as the trilogy went on all the character development. And ultimately, you won't believe me unless you play it yourself, but the game has a deep storyline and is all about how if we try and understand each other, no matter what our differences are, we can learn to get along and treat each other with respect.
Pictured; best snek speaking the truth
That image is fairly late game, I think it's between mid 2nd game and mid 3rd game, but could be later.

Welp I'll finish defending nsfw games now I guess :p though I will never stop loving MGQ!

And now, day 5: game character I feel I'm most like

I would have to say that this is a tough choice, just because even though I can relate to characters there aren't a lot that I feel I'm like.

But if I had to pick, I would say that I'm kind of like Fox McCloud (in Starfox Adventures, specifically) without the badass-ness.
He's sassy, sarcastic, and would rather blow shit up (because it's faster and more epic) than sneak in the smart way. He's not the brightest bulb in the box, but he always has a snappy comeback. Also he doesn't put up with people's shit, if someone irritates him it's obvious.

SO the rest of my post (since it's already long) will just be gifs that I find funny that are from Mass Effect. I discovered these first few the other night when I was looking for a good picture of Garrus. Just observe and enjoy~

So there's those things to enjoy. I laughed harder than I should at all of these!

And finally, this video is fantastic~ I'm still on a Mass Effect kick and recently beat the 3rd one, am getting into Andromeda. This DLC is probably my favorite of all of the DLC I've played so far, especially the dialogue inside the vault!

Anyways, I hope you all have a splendid night and sweet dreams~ Eventually I'll post shit other than Mass Effect. Look forward to it, readers~

Video Games and Yuri~ (Aggroe's two favorite things!)

Good evening everyone! January's coming to a close, and my roommates and I are looking forward to an exciting February! As far as games I plan to try, there are a couple that pop out in my mind.
They will be listed in the order of how excited I am to try them, from least to most~
#5: Pokemon X or Y!
I don't actually have a 3DS, in fact, the newest DS I have is a DSi that I bought in Japan. If I were to invest in a 3DS it would only be for this game. I'm not too impressed by it, but Pokemon is Pokemon... And I like adventures~ X and Y are supposed to have some cool new features~
#4: Higurashi Series!

I loved the anime to death! I've seen it 3 or 4 times all the way through, minus the OVAs, so I want to play the original visual novels~ They seem so cool, despite the bad graphics!
#3: Penumbra
This game is supposed to be pretty Amnesia-esque, despite being a bit older. I'm looking forward to trying it out~ The screenshots make it look pretty scary!
#2:  Assassin's Creed II
I've actually never played this series before, though I'm looking to get my hands on it~ I've heard that the second one is the best... I /do/ plan on playing them in order, but this is the one I'm most excited about!
And my top game to try this year...
#1: Monster Girl Quest, RPG!
There is a new version of MGQ coming out, and here you can find some info about it~
...
HOLY FUCKING SHIT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BADLY I WANT THIS! RIGHT NOW! MY HEART CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS SHIT! HRNG!
~~~
Day 30: Anime Sex Life
If I could choose a sex life from any anime at all, I would choose  the relationship between Shinobu and Naitou from Shoujo Sect: Innocent Lovers.
Okay, first off, this manga was the first I had seen of sex in the manga/anime verse. Secondly, it was yuri that I had ever read. I haven't seen all the way through the anime yet, but the ending to the manga is super sweet. It starts off pretty one-sided, but becomes something wonderful. They are so beautiful together, and I want a girl like Naitou by my side, someone I can laugh with, talk with, and have wonderful sex with~ <3 *the only time you'll see me use a heart*
*this gif is absolutely positively related*
*so is this 18+ one*
~~~
While we're on the topic, it's time for...
Aggroe's HTD!
This isn't an original work, for once! It's a Sailor Moon doujin with some yuri/futanari stuff. Enjoy~ I know I did~
~~~
Now, for the daily dose of Japan!
Did you know?
Japanese high schools are set up WAY differently than American schools! I'm sure you knew that much, but did you know that they typically go to school for three months, then get a month long break? It's set up more like college, in that respect~ Also, the teachers change classrooms every period rather than the students! The only exception to that would be things like PE and swimming~
Everyone is expected to join a club, and to do well in that club. Also, some schools have classes on Saturdays... Not to mention, a lot of the kids are forced to go to cram school after normal school, which is all about cramming for entrance exams for college. These cram schools typically last until late at night. Fun, huh?
~~~
It's pretty late, and I want to watch some Shoujo Sect before bed, yum~
Good night and sweet dreams!

A Few Things I've Learned From Being A Geek

Yo!
So I have recently talked about the hard times I am going through right now. There's a lot going on and I'm sure that other people have to go through a lot of bad experiences too. In fact I have been so stressed out that I actually called someone a bitch the other day (which is VERY unlike me)!
Now I usually don't like to talk about life situations but this one has gotten particularly bad. When people get stressed they can be angry, violent, sad, unmotivated, sick, and more. Now today I'd love to point out all the amazing things I have learned from comic, video games, t.v. shows, and other geeky things that I love! Hopefully this inspires people as much as it does me!

What I have learned from:

Adventure Time:

Sucking at something is the first step to being kinda good at something! Thinking of all of the mistakes in the past it's easy to realize that once you do something wrong, the next time you wont make the same mistakes. This goes for dating, taking care of pets, cooking, trying new sports or hobbies.
Everyone sucks at something and it's nothing to be ashamed of! Of course if you try something new and are bad at it, you are automatically better than people who haven't tried it yet!
Example: I lost my pet snake and now I know that corn snakes are a bitch to find and that I should keep my eye out for them when handling them.
Thank you Adventure Time!

Adventure time also teaches me "Don't leave your heart exposed". People will take advantage of you if you give them your everything and expect them to love you back. In fact one thing I love about Princess Bubblegum I that her number two priority in life is doing what she loves! SCIENCE! (I would say number one, but I'm sure that's taking care of her citizens!) All the guys in Ooo love her because she's a bad ass princess and she's always herself!
You rock Princess Bubblegum

Doctor Who:

If you are so desperate so stay alive why don't you live a little? This doesn't mean go bungee jumping because YOLO (I've done this though), it means find your passion(s) and live your life. I've started my own bucket list because I personally love having goals to look forward too. Making a bucket list also helps you discover who you are. My favorite past is that when I cross something off I attach it to a photo to remind me that I completed one of my tasks.
If you don't want to make a bucket list then at least give yourself a goal you want to strive for because it will be worth it in the long run!

Alice: Madness Returns:

Reality is a prison. Only in your mind you are free. I 100% believe this because there will always be shit that goes on if reality. Your mind is a wonderful tool. It can store amazing memories, learn new things, try new things, love, and much more.
Finding a peace of mind when you are upset is like an escape from reality and into your own dreams. This may sound cheesy, but I believe you can make your dreams come to life if you can put aside reality.
If you want to be a singer then make it a reality. What are your first steps? At what cost?
You sure are inspiring crazy Alice!

Monster Girl Quest:

Monster girl quest taught me a lot of fun things about life!
1) When you are angry have sex
2) Don't be a racist! Have sex!
3) Don't kidnap and rape people, but still have sex.
4) Don't trust people (or monsters) but have sex!
5) Sex.
I love MGQ because it's got a great story but it's still really funny!

Empowered:

Love yourself and do your best! Emp is a big, curvy white girl with big lips, blonde hair, blue eyes and a stereotypical sexy chick! Now she's also a super hero, and a very useless one at that!
Even though she's always getting made fun of by monsters and her own team mates she still has her boyfriends Thug Boy, her best friend Ninjette, and her pet demon lord robot I should say? She's also still a super hero!
This comic teaches us to love the little things in life because we're all kind of fucked up!
Thanks Empowered!

Anyways that's all for tonight but I plan to add a bunch more and maybe even do a separate: What Anime Taught Me post! I hope this inspires a ton of people as much as it inspired me!
Also! I won't have internet at my apartment for a few days so there wont be much going on unless Aggroe posts! Tomorrow may be my last day on here for a bit!

Soon...

Hello everyone!
It's been forEVER, I know that better than anyone... Sorry all~ Well, as far as my news goes, I have translations for tracks 1~11 done in writing, and am halfway through the video for track 3. I have a playthrough to post once it's edited, but it's just Techno Kitten Adventure, my latest addiction! Also, I still have to upload Paranoiac and Homesick, because I'm lazy since I have a lot of schoolwork.
Anemone made me aware of a wonderful picture. You see, I've never been a fan of memes. In fact, there are only a few memes I like. I really enjoy the 'soon' memes, and this one... This one takes the cake.
Isn't it just magnificent~?? I find it lovely and perfect. Who cares if it's photoshopped, it fills my heart with joy and... well, laughter, I guess. Anyways, yeah.
Actually, today, I have something I wanted to talk about! Excited?
~~~
Well, on Tuesday, Anemone and I are getting together to play some MTG to help her relax. In addition, we're doing the challenge that you can see here... Of course, with energy drinks instead of alcohol. It's somewhat less illegal, haha. PHOTO BOOTH TAG! Now, I myself am not a huge fan of Jenna Marbles, but Anemone loves her and this video made me laugh more than I expected. SO check it out!
Alright, I had intended to post about MTG, and I still will. I'll post a TON of info about it. But right now, Anemone and I are making Monster Girl Quest 'soon' memes. Here, I'll show them to you! Most are appropriate, but a few are R-18... I'll warn you all before hand~
THESE TWO ARE R-18!!! The one on the left is censored, the one on the right is NOT.
...
You have all been warned~
...Yes, this is how we spent our morning.
If you want to know who made what specifically, you can ask us in the comments or on our facebook page! Yes, we have both a profile and a page!
Yeah. Anyways, onto Magic: The Gathering!
~~~
So, MTG is an epic card game. I started playing while my stepmom worked at a small store that sold toys, games, and cards. It was a pretty cool store at the time, though the owner's a jerk. Anyways, they sold Magic cards there, and she got into playing. One day, I was visiting her at work and she bought me my first ever deck! It was a blue intro deck with 3 booster packs on the side. Planeswalkers were just carving out a name in the MTG world, and everyone wanted one. I would even say that, because they were so new, they were rarer than they are today.
The deck was a slow moving leveler, with control cards such as "Cancel".
Unfortunately, the four "Mind Controls" I have now were not originally a part of Wind Waker. It was your basic, everyday intro deck, with a mix of commons and uncommons, they don't just hand out rares.
So when I pulled a "Jace Beleren" out of my first booster, my stepmother was shocked. I had no idea the implications at the time. Out of one of the other boosters, I pulled "Lighthouse Chronologist", a mythic rare. Luck was on my side!

Eventually, I added white. It was a flying/level/control deck, and I called her Wind Waker. I had Zelda in mind, but it was named that because I really liked the sound of it! It seems to fit a blue/white flyer deck, anyhow.
In case you didn't know, Magic the Gathering is a wonderful card game that's really fun to play with friends! Anemone and I are playing on Tuesday, and we'll post a video here, so we'll add in the rules and such then~
My first series was the Eldrazi, but my favorite is definitely Zendikar. What did all of you start with? Do you have a favorite deck that you'll never disband? If so, why? What's the story?
Well, I'll post again tomorrow, so look forward to it~

Stress! Stress! Stress!

Good Evening Everyone! Anemone here! Sorry about not posting for a while. I had a bit of a difficult weekend. I'm moving in less than 2 weeks and had to run a bunch of errands (electricity, internet, etc.) Getting stuff figured out. I also ended up losing my snake. Which isn't fun. Hoping he turns up before I move.
Besides all that crap I haven't been watching anime, finishing Empowered or anything. The stress is kicking in! Anyways, I figured I should post something at least. I think I'll post some of my favorite things to keep from being stressed!
1. Adventure Time!
I really love watching Adventure Time because it's just really silly and mind numbing. You don't need to pay a lot of attention to get the story. It's light and funny and gives me time to think while occupying my attention at the same time. If I don't want to think to hard about something I'll watch something funny like Adventure Time or any other cartoons.

2. Dressing down
There's nothing I love more than sitting home in pajama pants and an Avengers T-shirt. It's honestly easier to think clearly when most comfortable. As much as I love to dress up, I feel pretty while being comfortable.

3. Music
If you haven't seen my music post here it is! Click here~
I listen to anything really but if you want to check out the nerdy music that I love click the link! Ken Ashcorp is what I've been listening to most recently. Just because his music is fun!
Touch Fluffy Tail- ken Ashcorp

4. Play Video Games
All I've been playing all week is Monster Girl Quest. I'm in love with this game and somehow fighting monster girls makes me feel relaxed. Haha! I'll post videos of it eventually but right now it's just my stress game.

5. Writing
I love writing down lists of things that I enjoy, writing about things that stress me out and what I need to get done. Somehow it helps. I also love writing about super heroes. I've always had a bit of an obsession with them. Not so much comic book heroes as making up my own.

Also doing the blog challenge (Maybe I chose the wrong month to do this BUT I WONT GIVE UP YET!)
Day 2: The Meaning Behind Your Name.
I got the name Anemone from the anime Eureka 7. It's one of my favorite anime! It pretty much stuck as a nickname! I love it anyways~
Day 3: 5 Places You Want To Visit.
1. Lake Retba because it's freaking PINK!
2. Warsaw Poland because it's gorgeous! No seriously this place looks great <3
3. Ghibli Museum!
4. Tomorrow Land because of pure epicness and also I really don't know what on earth it's supposed to be.
5. Australia because it just sounds intense!

Anyways that's all for tonight. I'll have more for you guys up tomorrow! Goodnight!

So Tell Me What You Want, What You Really Really Want! :D

 Good morning everyone! Or should I say afternoon? I just woke up so eh, it's morning o.0
Anyways I wanted to tell you all that we are soon going to have a Truth or Dare video up once we reach 50 facebook friends! So come add us here at https://www.facebook.com/aggroe.anemone Also don't forget to post your dares and questions!
Goodness Aggroe has been gone quite a while. She does get very busy! Let's hope she gets back soon! She has a really terrifying video from the Luna games we played last Saturday! Basically the game didn't run the way it was supposed to and all went to hell. It was horrifying ;_; While waiting you can check out some of our other videos at our youtube here~
Also is anyone interested in R-18 gaming? I've recently grown addicted to an adult RPG game and if you all want I can post playthroughs of the amazing Monster Girl Quest! You go around fighting monsters as the brave hero Luka. You have to find the demon lord and kill her so that humans and monsters can live happily together. The game does have a lot of vore and sex scenes though. You may think I'm a pervert but at least I'm a fun pervert!
Those are just a few quicky updates and such~ Is there anything you want to request? A game, a topic, a tutorial, a comic/manga/book? Request it in the comments or on our facebook!
Have a wonderful day and join us later tonight for some more geeky fun! <3
