Tonight's post will be all about the interesting new things that I've been up to, and just random, fun stuff! I've had a strange day emotionally, so I kinda want to make this post all about the things that I enjoy, plus a mini rant or two~
First off, however...

It's the February Challenge!
Day 5: Skill Set
I feel like I have to explain this one a bit first. This would be 4 or 5 skills that your character would have the opportunity to level up. For example, the stealth skills in Skyrim!
So my character would have:
1. "Thief" skill set
This would include sneaking, pickpocketing, and lockpicking.
2. "Smooth Talker" skill set
All about the bribery, charisma, intimidation, and charm~ No one would be able to resist me with this fully leveled!
3. "Healing Magic" skill set
Magic, specifically for healing me in the heat of battle. Don't you just hate it when a red dragon leaps down, and you have no cleric or healer? Must rely on potions. This is one of the most useful types of skills in an RPG in my opinion~
4. "Adventurer" skill set
This would include abilities such as how to pitch a tent, or how to set up an inconspicuous fire. The higher the level is, the less likely it is that enemies will find your camp. Also, cooking requires less ingredients with a higher success rate as the level increases~
5. "Melee Weapon" skill set
A necessity for any adventurer! Some kind of attack is necessary, and I've always preferred melee weapons to ranged. Plus, the higher the level, the more damage you can do with a simple stick! An exaggeration, I know, but it's still a useful set of skills to have~

These three words, in order, are pronounced "soo-kee", "dah-ee-soo-kee", and "ah-ee-shee-teh-roo".
For those of you who do know a bit of Japanese, you may recognize that these all mean "love". So why pit three words against each other when they all mean the same thing? Well, because they all have different connotations, or inferred/implied meanings.
#1 means "I love you", and can be used towards friends, family, and lovers, or when admitting your feelings for someone.
#2 means "I really really love you", and it's used specifically for childhood friends (rarely) and for your lover/boyfriend/girlfriend. Maybe parents, but be careful how you say it and the context.
Finally...
#3 means "You are my soulmate and I want to spend the rest of my life with you", and this is reserved for the one special someone whom you love unconditionally. Most people never use this word in their entire life, but it does exist and can be used... Though you might scare someone away if you use it too early in a relationship. Did I say might? You WILL scare them away~

First off, Anemone made me watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I'll admit it was my first time watching it. I watch the 2012 version with her, as that's her favorite. It was so wonderful~ I just... Mikey and Donny are my favorites~ I love that Mikey has FRECKLES! How!? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!?! Then I had a realization. They're 15 year old mutants. 15 year old mutant turtles. Who are learning Japanese and Ninja-ness from a giant mutant rat who was once a human. And they eat pizza.
And Michaelangelo's FRECKLES are what I"m questioning?

The next thing I want to talk about is my Pokemon challenge that I will be attempting starting tomorrow! So when I was younger, I actually had trouble getting my Pokemon high enough to beat the Elite 4. Now that I've learned the secrets of grinding, EV training, EXP share, and various other methods, it's not nearly as difficult for me! And with Anemone playing Pokemon Firered every day, I'm getting a bit jealous~ I miss my training days, and I really want to play some more! So in order to up the difficulty, I looked up some gameplay challenges online~ I decided on a fairly easy, yet really entertaining challenge and changed up the rules a bit.
Youngster Joey Challenge!
1. Your character's name MUST be Joey. No exceptions!
2. You have to wear shorts when playing, every time!
3. Every new town you hit, you must call someone randomly on your phone- in real life- and tell them about how you have a Rattata in the top percentage of Rattata!
4. You may only use a Rattata, and only one, in battles.
5. You are allowed, and will need, HM slaves to navigate the Overworld. HOWEVER, using them in battle is FORBIDDEN!
6. You can't evolve Rattata.
7. You may EV train Rattata and teach it TMs and HMs. Remember, your goal is a Rattata in the top percentage!
In the beginning of the game, you can use your starter until you are able to catch a Rattata. This means that as soon as you get Pokeballs, you MUST go to the first area of the game and catch one ASAP, otherwise the challenge doesn't count!

I'm going to start this tomorrow, feel free to try it with me if you'd like~
Also, fitness-wise, I'm pretty proud of myself~
I've actually gained weight, unfortunately... Yet, IT'S ALL ROCK HARD MUSCLE! FUCK YEAH! I'm really proud that I've stuck with this~ I have a lot more energy, I'm not as depressed or lonely anymore, and I can now lift about 25~30 lbs at the gym! That's some great improvement in just 4 weeks~
So happy!
I'm starting school back up in March/April, and am taking some pretty fun classes~ I might talk a lot about what I'm learning in that time, because I'm really passionate about school. I dunno why, but I LOVE learning about neurons, and how the human brain works~ It's all so interesting!

Folklore, and why Aggroe shouldn't be allowed on Youtube~

Yo everyone! This should be a pretty fun post, as I'll be discussing some of the folklore behind incubi and succubi, not to mention doing a secret challenge~
First off, today's challenge! (and yesterday's since I'm lame)
Day 27: House!
Honestly, I would choose to live in Kyouya Ootoori's house, from Ouran High School Host Club.

I don't like the character much, but I like the modern feel of that mansion. It's just so beautiful~ Plus, I could just hide there, since it's so huge they'd probably never know!... Hopefully. It's so gorgeous! Plus, it's in Japan, so I could do exploring and stuff~
Day 28: School you'd attend
I feel bad for posting two things from one anime, and even worse that it's in the same post, but...
Probably Ouran Academy.

Now please don't get me wrong, I don't give a shit about being rich! I also dislike the color pink! But... This school's huge, and it seems like it's never boring~ There's always something going on! It would always be exciting, plus there are so many interesting people to meet~

This word can refer to either a nightmare, or a demon who appears in one's dreams, which in Japanese lore, fits with Succubi and Incubi. More about them will be explained later~

Now, for one part of the fun!
I found this story on Creepypasta, obviously, and it gave me an idea...! Now, I've been to the weird part of Youtube, many times... And in my opinion, there are two different types of the "weird part of Youtube" That would be A) Scary/creepy/fucked up and B)Sexual/not safe for work (nsfw)... I'm aiming for the scary side~ I mean, the Creepypasta promised me a snuff film!
Basically what Anemone and I are doing is finding a video, watching it, then clicking on the most messed up suggestion. I'll be starting with one I've never seen~
1. Very creepy disturbing children's cartoon, banned from TV It's kind of strange, but really interesting~ Thought provoking...~
2. 10 Disturbing Childhood Experiments This one was messed up... I mean, a few of these I've heard of before, and the one about "Little Albert"... That wasn't exactly what they did. Still, dark stuff.
3. Love Automatic - NIGHTMARE This is actually a music video, but it's really freaky. I don't quite know what I just watched... But I have a new favorite band, yay~
4. Teddy's Nightmare (2007) This is a pretty disturbing short film.
5. Smile -Scary Animation Oh gods why did I watch that... *dies a little inside* It feels like my soul was just raped by clowns.
6. Behind Closed Doors - Remember, there's no such thing as monsters~ No... That's alright... Didn't want to sleep anyways...
7. The Dummy (1982) This one's not as messed up as the last two...~
8. Alone This is another short horror film~ Not my favorite, but still kinda creepy... only a bit cliche.
9. Victim Yet another short horror film. The ambiance is creepy, but it's not really scar- HOLY FUCK NO! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?! *curls up into fetal position* *cries a lot*
10. Porcelain Rising Dolls... WHY IS IT ALWAYS DOLLS!?!?
So that's my 10~ Vote on the creepiest or on your favorite~! But I didn't find a snuff film, not even a fake one! I don't quite know whether to be disappointed or relieved...

Finally, some folklore... If you guys don't mind a really long post~
This isn't really 18+, but do read with discretion please~ If you're under 15 or 16, I wouldn't recommend reading this, though of course, it's your call~
First, I'll talk a bit about what they are. A succubus is the female manifestation, and incubus is the male counterpart. Basically, they are demons that feed off of one's life energy through sexual intercourse. Oftentimes, the males are thought to try and make human women pregnant, to create unholy half human half demon babies. A commonly accepted belief nowadays is that incubi and succubi are the same creatures, but they change sex based on their target. They kill humans by having sex with them, but the catch is, they can only get their food if the human enjoys it... Idiots who believe in the existence of these creatures often try to summon them, but there are quite a few reasons why that's a bad idea. Some claim that these demons are relatively harmless, unless there's a lot of them, or the victim is particularly weak or ill. I wouldn't mess around with demons, though...
This lore originally began in the Dark Ages, I believe, and it was a Christian/Catholic idea. Basically, it was an idea created because sex was considered "bad" or "evil", so those who experienced wet dreams or unexplainable lust could blame it on a demon, visiting them in the night.
In Japanese lore, they only visit people in dreams.
Also, they are incorporeal, having no form in the real world. They can also manipulate how they look, changing form based on their target. Again, that's similar to the sex swapping.
Nowadays, they are seen as sexy, beautiful, and more attractive than any human. But the fact of the matter is, the real way they look is terrifying. It's true that they don't have a form in OUR world, but in the dimension they exist in, hell or whatever you want to call it, they have the form of a hideous monstrosity. Also, if they are hungry enough, they will do whatever it takes to eat, which means RAEP TIME! They can tell almost instantly what turns a person on, therefore the rape will be physically pleasant, even if you hate it mentally and emotionally.
Succubi are not as aggressive as their male counterparts, but that doesn't mean that they won't force you to feed them. They may tempt you, and if that doesn't work, well... How do you feel about femdom? They're into that shit.

Incubi are... aggressive. They will hurt you in the process of eating, no matter what. They might not kill you, but you will wake up sore the next morning. Even if the girl isn't into that, there are ways around it for these bastards. Like I said, they know about every one of your weak spots.

Both variations are sneaky, and just like humans, some are more intelligent that others. The smarter ones may return to a single human for food everytime without killing them, or even making them too much weaker...
...
So, are they real?
Well, I've never met one, so I don't know. But just because I've never met one doesn't mean they don't exist. Ever heard of Schrodinger's Cat? It's like that, I don't know. It both exists and doesn't exist at the same time, until there is proof one way or another.
That being said, I do believe that some people use their minds to unintentionally create experiences that SEEM to be an attack by an incubus or succubus.
The human mind is a dangerous thing...

Yo! So yesterday, I promised some folklore today. I'm sort of a mythology buff and I love fun little trivia facts about beliefs, both old and new! But I realized today that I've been lying a bit.
I've been pretty depressed lately.
Not too much, but it got me to thinking that EVERYONE has days like that. Y'know, days where you don't wanna crawl out of bed. So today (after the challenge, HTD, and Japanese fact) I'll be talking a bit about how to tackle your depression!

This word means happy. But not just happy, it means exuberant. Ecstatic. Typically you say this when someone makes you happy by giving you a gift, visiting you, or taking you on a date to a place you enjoy~ You can even say it just to say that you're happy about seeing them!
You can say that someone looks happy by saying "ureshisou" (oo-re-shee-so; 嬉しそう;うれしそう)

Finally, the moment you've all been waiting for...~
So for a bit of background, depression runs in my family. That doesn't mean, however, that it controls my life. I do go through stages where I refuse to get out of bed and cry myself to sleep at night for stupid reasons. Hell, I've even considered suicide once or twice.
But it hasn't beat me and it never will.
I guess that leads into my first point,
Find a way to motivate yourself!
I recommend doing this before depression sets in. Basically, for me this means thinking about everything I wouldn't get done if I stayed in my room all day. All the opportunities I'd miss.
I mean, someone's day could be made just a bit better if you went outside and smiled at them!
Motivate yourself to keep going, even when you feel like falling! The problem with depression is that it's a cycle, a vicious one.
You stay indoors, so you feel down.
You feel down, so you stay indoors.
And it keeps going and going and going...

If you know it will happen, find motivation ahead of time! A reason to get out of bed! Even if you don't prepare a list of all you want to accomplish and what you want to do~ Basically, reasons to get out of bed.
Some great reasons that help me are...
1. But you have school today! Don't skip classes, or you'll NEVER earn your PhD!
2. What about hula hooping? Isn't that still a thing?
3. Oh come on, there must be SOME kind of anime you wanted to watch today...
4. Get up and love your snake! Her life depends on you!
5. What about that hot bod you want? It won't sculpt itself!
Get outside in the sunlight!
Vitamn D in sunlight really can help cheer you up. I find that if I lay down in the sun, I feel happier, warmer, and generally better than when I lay down in bed.
I mean, if you're gonna spend the day lying down ANYways...~
Don't dwell on what you can't change.
I don't know about you, but MY brain likes to tell me all about everything I've ever done wrong. But you know what, fuck that! I've done a lot RIGHT, too! Also, you can't change the past so why dwell on it?
My favorite metaphor for this...
Say you spilled some milk on the ground. Since it's already happened, you can't change it! So from here on, you have three options. You can...
a) Walk past the milk, and let it spoil on the floor, pretending it never happened and then NEVER get the spill cleaned...
b) Freak out and throw a fit over it, panicking over what to do and again, it will never get cleaned up...
c) Or you can realize that you made a mistake and clean up the milk.
C is the obvious answer, right?
Realize what you did, that what happened can't be changed. You still have to buy new milk! Then do what you can to fix it. Clean up the milk and buy some more.
Don't dwell on negative emotions. Recognize them, feel them for 10~15 minutes, then move along.
I realize that it's difficult, but here are some tactics to help!
1. Meditate
2. Pray
3. Focus your mind on something else, like blogging!
Exercise BEFORE it gets to be a problem!
I know, I know, cliche. But it really does work wonders! Even if it's just yoga in the mornings and evenings, or 5 crunches, or even just one pull-up! Stay active!
A fun fact about exercise is that it pumps endorphins and dopamine through your brain!
Endorphins are essentially the body's natural painkiller. They make you feel physically alright, and are also released whenever you're injured -though I don't recommend cutting yourself as an antidepressant- and are just a great thing in general! Dopamine makes you happy, it gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling and is also the cause of most addictions (this would be orgasms, exercise, music, etc... most drugs too, unfortunately).
Once you exercise a bit, you'll want to exercise more!

Now these two aren't really tips, but they're important as well.
PLEASE don't hurt yourself! There are much better ways to deal with loneliness, sadness, and depression. Talk to your doctor, your parents, your friends. Anyone. Find someone to trust. I don't trust many people, but when I need to talk to someone I do it. If I don't want to tell anyone, I write it down. Usually in the form of a fictional story, but sometimes a letter to myself.
Also, for some, antidepressants are the only option. Most of the time, depression can be help under control with exercise, a positive mindset, the right diet, and supportive people... But if you do have to take the dreaded antidepressants, then I recommend a Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI). SSRIs are things like Prozac/Serafem. What they do is keep seratonin from being recycled, therefore more seratonin stays in the brain longer. Low seratonin levels are typically connected with OCD type disorders, shyness, social anxiety, and depression. SSRIs are generally great because even though they take 6-8 weeks to work, they have very little side effects compared to other types of antidepressants.
All in all, do what you can to keep a positive outlook!
Don't hold it inside. Recognize how you feel, deal with it in a proper way, and keep on keeping on!
And you know what else?
I think that you are BEAUTIFUL! If you ever, for one second, think that you're alone in this world, remember... You're not. You have people who love you.

Yo everyone! 

Hope it's going well! So today I am a bit sick. I have a headache, a fever, and a stomach ache. I blame Aggroe (Even though I wasn't home to catch it and I spent all week with my sick family). I still blame her~
Thus I didn't do much but nap and eat today. Sorry! I don't have anything special planned to talk about today, though I was talking with Aggroe earlier and remembered that while I was looking in the mirror today I was determining the kind of person I want to be~
So I think today I'll post a few things that help me become the geeky, feminine person I want to be and hopefully give some helpful tips on being yourself~!

Day 24- Maid

My maid would have to be little Italy from Hetalia!
He's such a cutie pop and I adore how he looks as a maid~ Is that creepy?

Day 25- Loli

Hani from Ouran High School Host Club or as I like to call him "Honey". Or I would choose Nagisa from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club! BECAUSE CUTE LITTLE BOYS OH MY GOSH <3 I have a soft spot for adorable anime guys~ Or even Ciel from Black Butler because they are all SO GOSH DARN CUTE. (I can go on and on if I get to thinking but I'll leave it at this for now~).

Today I was talking to Aggroe about the kind of person I want to be. I'm going to post a few of my own personal goals and then post a few questions and tips for you guys!

1. I want to be a very feminine lady~

I want to be viewed as put together, classy, intelligent, and preppy. Now doing all this and being geeky don't really go hand in hand. Though in my mind it really does!
Take Kaga-san for example! She looks very cute and preppy and pretty and she is very feminine~ I would like to put off the looks and attitude of Kaga! I want to read manga and books, watch anime, cosplay and still look like a high class lady~
 I can be elegant, classy, and geeky all at the same time!

2. I want to feel accomplished!

I want to stick to my cosplay plans, blog every day, and catch up on all the half finished anime I watched. I would love to feel proud of all the things I accomplish!
I've accomplished the blogging every day and I'm sticking to it because I LOVE IT! Now let's get working on those cosplays!

3. I want to be intelligent~

I have poor grammar, I can't write well, and I have a lot of spelling errors. So hopefully I will get better as I blog more with Aggroe! I want to view myself as an intelligent person. I'm currently learning French because I love the language~ I'll see if I can get someone to teach me Elvish ;)

How is everyone tonight!?
I had a pretty great day filled with anime, super hero fighting video games, and relaxing. I think that's what I'll talk about a bit tonight! I watch Attack on Titan, Kotoura-san, and Nichijou! Since I've seen Kotoura-san and Attack on Titan I think I'll share Nichijou because it's SO SILLY! I also played Injustice! Which is a great PS4 game!

Nichijou is a super cute anime about... insanity? This anime is so random and so hilarious! I would say everyone should at least give the first episode a try! I have to admit it's not my favorite anime I've seen, but it is cute. It's one that I would watch when I am bored or before going to bed.
I would recommend it to anyone who likes cutsie anime or silly stories.
My favorite character is the professor and her android. They are so cute and the professor reminds me of myself because she acts like a little kid.

I also played an amazing game today with one of my friends! We ended up playing Injustice: Gods Among Us, a game for the PS4. It's basically a superhero fighting game! 2 player button mashers have to be my favorite games of all time, this one was absolutely epic and the list of heroes and villains you can choose from is great!

Day 18: Parents!

My anime parents would be Ranka and Yasuko!
My father would be Ranka from Ouran High School Host Club because who doesn't want a crazy, cross dressing, overprotective father!? Okay, maybe a lot of people. But he's quirky and I'm quirky so it would make sense!

My mother would be Yasuko from Toradora! She sleeps a lot and eats a lot, but also works and plays a lot. Just like me. She would totally be my mother. (Since Ranka and Yasuko are both single parents this would work out great) XD

Day 19: Catch phrase!

This is pretty much my daily catch phrase anyways. It isn't really from any particular anime. I started saying 'Yo' when I first read High School Debut a few years back. It was my favorite manga of the time and I was in love with the main characters boyfriend Yoh.

Finally, it's 2014!

So today, I wasn't sure what I was going to talk about because I'm now a boring adult. Then I remembered something Anemone came up with, ad promptly forgot about~ Maybe this post will remind her!
We are doing a 31 day challenge! Basically, our anime life! Each day is a new thing, and basically forming our own anime with concepts already present and shit.
So yeah. I'll do days 1-3 right now, as it's technically the 3rd where I am~
Day 1 - Yandere/Yangire
I would definitely go with the Yangire Rena Ryuuguu from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (When They Cry).

She's super cute and happy, very bubbly. Whenever she sees something she thinks is cute, she goes into "cute mode" (as named by her friends) and will do ANYTHING to take it home with her! This can be anything from the statue that stands outside of KFC restaurants, to Keiichi's "sea bear", and to Satoko in a maid costume. She especially likes the "adorable" faces of crying people~

This sweet, feminine, shy girl also has a dark side, obviously.

She snaps. And when she snaps, she REALLY snaps! Scary, yet adorable~

Day 2 - Tsundere
My tsundere would be Nanami Kanata from the Starry Sky series.

He represents the Pisces (or at least the stereotype) and is super adorable! He'll go from being all lovey-dovey in one minute to embarrassed and lashing out in the next. My favorite example took place when he (in the Drama CD, which is the basis for the anime and based on the visual novels) was woken up by his girlfriend in the morning, and she wanted to hear his "sweet whispers". He started off all romantic and then, within a few seconds (it might have been a minute) he stopped and started flipping the fuck out. "I didn't mean any of it! What the hell! You know I'm weak in the morning, stupid!" and stuff. It was hilarious~
Day 3 - Mecha/Giant Robot/Armor
My pick would be a suit of armor, as I'm not too well versed in mecha anime. I would pick Kamui Senketsu from Kill la Kill.

It's true, the armor's skimpy... (Female armor always is)... BUT IT CAN STOP FUCKING BULLETS! THIS THING IS AMAZING! With Senketsu, she can be CRUSHED by mechs, and just brush it off as a GODDAMN SCRATCH! Also, look at that underboobage! *fangasm*

Anyways, yeah. I really like both the Kamui but I would definitely pick Senketsu because he looks more badass~

Well that's it for the daily January challenge~ I'm still busy with moving in and stuff, but yeah.
Also, Anemone mentioned it, but we were at NewCon! It was my first convention ever, and my cosplay (as it was arranged the day before) wasn't as great as I had hoped it would be, but I had a great time~ I saw some Kill la Kill cosplays, a Daenarys, Aang, the Amazing Spiderman, LOTS of Shingeki no Kyojin, and some other stuff.
I did take some pictures and videos, but they're on a friend's camera/SD card and she can't get the pictures to me for another two weeks...
*cries in a corner*
Yeah... Anyways, that's about it~
Oh yeah, more good news! Anemone and I are going to start weekly vlogs in cosplay! She's going to do Anemone from Eureka 7, and I will be fem!Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club, that anime was my childhood...~
We have backstories and tons of ideas, hers will be on Fridays and mine on Sundays. Look forward to it!
I know that I'm behind on my playthroughs too, but I'll start them back up again when I have a cool backdrop~ X3 I'm working on decorating my wall with lovely things~~
