The Sexiest Convention!

Hello All!
Anemone here and ready to post! Had an epic time this last weekend at Newcon PDX! It was seriously the greatest adult anime convention ever. I brought Aggroe with me! Her first anime convention filled with tons of 18+ panels, Asian men in maid outfits, cosplay, and sexiness!!

I went to this convention as Fem!Makoto from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. The new anime that came out this last summer. Since I was cosplaying in a swimsuit I joined the swimsuit contest! I performed a hoop dance to the song "What PS2" by Ken Ashcorp.

I will have a video of that posted as soon as our friend sends it to us to use on our blog! It was a ton of fun! Aggroe and I also went to the maid cafe! Unfortunately we showed up too late to get lap dances, but it was still pretty awesome!
We also went to a few other panels like the 18+ Who's Line that was FUNNY AS F*CK! We went to the Avengers panel and somehow escaped with a full bag of Avenger candy sticks. We ended the night with the rave!
Aggroe and I decided on a few goals for next years Newcon:
1. Newcon is our motivation to gain/lose weight for next year!
2. Join and WIN the Swimsuit competition! In fact Aggroe and I challenged each other for next year!
3. We need to get lap dances at the Maid Cafe
4. Gonna stay UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY!

Yes! So if you'd like to join us for some epic, adult, party, nerdy fun next year at Portland PDX Newcon then please join us because we will be joining again for sure and bringing MORE PEOPLE!

Alice! Cosplay! Conventions! Oh My!

Hey Everyone!
I am seriously the most exhausted person right now. Pretty much just spent the day hooping. Besides getting Aggroe hooked on Alice: Madness Returns that is! If you haven't played it then you need to check it out because it's my favorite game pretty much ever.

I'm seriously so stuffed from Christmas that I had to turn on our work out picture frame (a digital picture frame with random pop up work outs). On the bright side my stomach feels great!
Speaking of Christmas I got some pretty sweet nerdy things! Like a Superman and Adventure time shirt (because people know how much I adore geeky shirts). Also got a blonde wig for a cosplay! I can't stop wearing it! It's so wonderful! I never realized I looked pretty cute as a blonde XD
Also got ramune and Hi-chew which are my favorite Japanese treats! I buy them at every convention I go to! I didn't even realize we had places around here that sell these yummies! Uh-oh! XD
I'll post some pictures up very soon of our apartment decorations and wigs and such! As long as I don't keep forgetting while it's still light out ^^" Darn winter!
Anyways I may go up to Portland with Aggroe this Saturday for Newcon. MAYBE. I've been looking forward all year to this con and I didn't think I was going to be able to go. Yet because the roads look clear I can drive up and hang out with some old friends and POOLCON!
Poolcon is the Newcon party at the pool. It's not an event so you don't need a badge. Nope. It's just a giant pool party that goes on pretty much all convention long! If your in Portland I'd suggest going for sure!
I plan to take a ton of pictures and videos even though I wont be there too long. I'm excited to see old friends and take Aggroe to her first taste at an anime convention!
I'm gonna give another hint for my newest cosplay. I'm blonde, I'm a guy (fem version actually but the anime character is originally a guy), and I am from a more recent anime! Who am I? ;)
I'm off to bed from being so insanely exhausted from the last few days! More amazing things are on the way!

Christmas and Poke-Fusions!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Or Happy Holidays! Or Happy... normal day? 
I dunno, but just enjoy the day. I hope all of you Whovians are okay! What with all the angels, Christmas tree's, and snowmen! Yeah... 
Aggroe and I spent the holidays together this year, which mostly consisted of playing games with my sisters and eating a ton of pie... and candy. I'm going to get diabetes if I don't have it already. It was worth it though. 
I'd love to share our epicly decorated apartment! We've got the greatest Christmas tree, awesome stockings, and Aggroe even decorated her desk with Portal 2 heart lights. It's pretty epic! Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures before we left so our awesome apartment decorations are going to have to wait!
Oh! And we won the gingerbread house building contest with our awesome house with a dead gingerbread body on it. We get demented when decorating sometimes ^^"

That's pretty much all about Christmas, but I've got some other hilarious things to share! The other night Aggroe and I non-stopped created Poke-fusions. What are these? When you take one Pokemon and another Pokemon and fuse them together.

Anemone's Top 3 Anime

Hey Everyone!
Figured I'd post about my newest favorite anime that's ongoing right now. To be quite honest there was nothing I was really interested in watching for this season until some friends recommended some good ones to me!

1. Nagi No Asukara.

This anime has to be my favorite of the moment. This anime is basically about how fish people and humans can't get along. There's a few kids in the show that try to get enough people together to celebrate a holiday where humans and fish people get along together. What happens if they fail? The sea god will freeze the earth. It's very racial.

My favorite thing about this anime is the art. I love how all of the sea people have pretty, bright blue eyes! My favorite character has to be Hikari or Hii-kun. All of my friends hate him because he is a major Tsundere and always picks on his crush. Yeah but I totally love him!

2. Golden Time

This anime is about a boy with amnesia that goes to a new school. He falls in love with a beautiful girl and at the same time begins to regain his memories about his middle school crush. It's a bit sad when you think of it. I absolutely love how emotional this anime gets. I love really emotional/dramatic anime and this has to be one of the best romance anime I've ever seen because I can connect with it so well! Not all relationships are happy with normal people.


My favorite character is Koko because she is insane. No seriously. She will haunt you down and force you to love her. I love how random she is!

3. Kill La Kill

Lastly I am also watching Kill La Kill. Which is my least favorite only because I can't relate to it nearly as well. I love how hilarious and over the top it is! It's fun to watch if you want something silly and out of control. Somehow the art style and over the topness (yeah that's not a word >.>) and pervertedness somehow remind me of Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.



My favorite character is Tsumugu because his weapon is a freaking SEWING MACHINE! Did anyone else notice that? Seriously he's epic.

Also Nonon. She is pink. Her weapon is a heart shaped spaceship that's powered by music and shoots pink hearts. Your argument is invalid.

Anemone's Random A** Excuses

Hello Everyone! Aggroe and I are back!
I want to share with you our journey of why we have been gone for so long!
Aggroe and I were both in the process of moving, and it turns out we moved in together with our lovely new room mates! It was really hectic to move everyone in but we got it done pretty quickly.
Also I had thought that blogger wasn't working. It wasn't working for me and Aggroe for completely different reasons and we managed to fix each others problems fairly easily!
In that time I created a tumblr and DEAR LORD DO I FREAKING HATE TUMBLR. Oh my gosh it was just awful. Very little customization and not very easy to share.
After that I had created a new Blogger that took me forever to put together. By the time I actually finished it this one was fine.
All this last week we have had blogger back, but since we hadn't been on in so long I had the most extreme writers block. Now that I am back I am excited to get started!
Sorry for being gone for so long!
So what cured my writers block? Well, I was just sitting here in bed, sick as hell when I decided to work on my letter to myself. It's an awesome project I recently started on where you ask yourself a bunch of questions for the future and talk about your current life. Then in 1/5/10/20 years or however long you choose to wait, open the letter and read all about your past self. Your old favorite things, pets, jobs, were you live, what you do, hobbies. Stuff like that and see how much you changed.
My room mate was the one who got my interested in doing this. I'm making it really long and detailed so I can remember all the things about myself.
Some of my favorite questions are:
Do you still cosplay? If so who?
What are your top five favorite anime?
Did you ever watch the new Star Trek movies?
How many anime conventions have you been to?
Are you still blogging? If so how is that going?
Basically questions like that. ^^"
I guess that once I start typing something interesting I just get encouraged to write more! That and it might also have to do with the fact that for some reason I become more creative and inspired when I get sick.
I can't really think of anything geeky to share recently so I might just post all the random shit on our blog! I'm sure Aggroe wouldn't mind ^^"
I have started some new anime that I plan to share and I'm working on a new cosplay! I might also be sharing some videos soon for another project I am working on. I'm working on a video for sexy cosplaying and submitting it to Underground Kosplay! I'll have that up as soon as I get to feeling better! Just a few updates for ya!
Also Christmas is just a few days away and I'm flipping out! I'm so excited!
