The Cutest Video Game Hero Lives in the Cutest Minecraft House

Good Evening Everyone!

Apologies for the minor absence. I've been doing testing for school recently! I've decided to go to college to become a nurse and take some journalism classes! Wish me luck! Anyways, here is your dose of awesomeness for the day!

I have talked about how I am reading the Hunger Games trilogy. Well I recently saw Catching Fire with my boyfriend for Valentines day. (I know, I'm a bit behind). I'm going to give it a 10 out of 10. I just about died. Now I'm not really the person to cry at movies, but I bawled at this one!
SPOILERS.
All hell let loose in my tear ducts when Mag walked into the fog. When I hear "Catching Fire" that is the first scene that comes to mind. (It may have hurt a lot because I have a serious crush on Finnick and the actor was smoking). To watch her walk into the smoke was like watching puppies commit suicide. I have a soft spot in my heart for elderly.
I also just about died when Katniss gave her speech for Rue in district 11. I personally would have just kept going with the speeches even after the man was killed. I mean we all knew the riots were going to break out anyways. 
I'm almost too scared to read Catching Fire after that especially when others are telling me that the book is much more intense than the movie. I believe it too! The first book was intense!
Also on Valentines day my boyfriend was more than amazing enough to create a cute little house for me in minecraft since I've recently gotten into it. I love adorable things like that and by the looks of the house he knows me way too well. Check it out~

 This is the very front of the cute little house that he made for me. You can see the garden on one side and epic roller coaster on the other! AND IT'S PINK! I think the roof makes it look like a cake too. Too cute!

 The inside of the front door. The rugs around the beds and lanterns around the doors are shaped like hearts! Everything is pink and red and white too! Plus it's really bright and glows!

 Water slide and pool, and I'm standing on the diving board. Way too cute!

 He had also made the most adorable garden with a giant fountain in the center! It's surrounded with roses! I'm allergic to flowers but he still managed to get me "flowers" on Valentines day. Little sneak~

 Riding on the roller coaster he typed I love you in the sky and my name as well! It also glows in the dark! (There is glow stone in the middle of the letters and heart).
This is probably the most creative and adorable way to show someone you love them on Valentines day! Too cute!

CHALLENGES!

Day 11: Hero's (My) Main Goal

I believe my main should be to travel the world and stop evil and fight crimes! I know, I know that's pretty cliche. I would like to go undercover as a normal girl and then travel the world and fight crime secretly. Pretty much the female version of Superman!

Day 12: Story Line

Evil villain Cat Woman, my arch nemesis has captured my boyfriend and hid him somewhere around the world. So I have to go continent to continent fighting evil minions and searching for him. Talk about a major cat fight! (See what I did there).

Day 13: Villain's Goal

To destroy the worlds most powerful undercover superhero (me) by capturing her boyfriend for her evil twisted plots!

Day 14: Outfit

I'm going to be honest here. Lollipop Chainsaw pink skin suit. It's sexy as hell and super adorable. I would totally wear that around in public if it were socially acceptable!

Day 15: Vehicle

Princess peaches motorcycle from Mario Kart. In case you haven't caught on yet, I'm aiming a bit for a super duper adorable super hero. A super hero so cute and girly that comic book writers would be embarrassed of~


So I've decided for a fun project that I will write a short story about my video game once I'm finished with this months challenges! 

Anemone's Geeky Find!

To be quite honest I haven't been doing much "geeky" stuff recently other than revisiting some of my absolute favorite PS2 games. I grew up with the PS2, in fact my parents bought the game console for my sisters and I before we even got a computer. I loved Spyro Enter the Dragonfly, Egg Tetris, I even had a few Spongebob games that I would play! Mostly I remember in elementary school I had an obsession with the game Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. I had a friend in my 3rd grade class. He would always talk to me about his pokemon games and I would tell him all about Ty. I'm serious when I say obsessed.
I never actually finished the game because it was too difficult for me in elementary school. (I did watch my mom finish the game though). I decided to revisit the game and beat it! I spent about 3 days on it now (I've had a lot of shit to do to so don't give me crap for spending so long on a video game)!
Now that I've given you the back story I recently found out that there is a Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2 and 3! The best part is that they're sold at a game store near where I live! It looks like I found myself a new goal! It may not be the most exciting geeky find but this is pure gold to me. Who knows! Maybe even some of you guys didn't know that!

What game console did you grow up with (if you grew up with one) and what was your favorite game? 
I'm pretty sure that the PS2 is stil my favorite console to this day! What can I saw? I'm a sucker for cartoon and animal games!

Ending the night with everyone's favorite segment Hentai! I'm a bit of an incest nut and cute/vanilla stories! If you totally get me then you're going to enjoy this! It's called My Cute Little Sister Book and it's a very short story (I like the shorter one's better anyways). It's also pretty cute! It doesn't focus on the whole incest part so even if you're not into incest but you like the cuter stories then give it a read!

Minecraft, and why I love Fable II

My favorite video game hero would have to be the main character in Fable II.

Now, this wasn't /my/ main character, but it's sorta close~ Mine was Fearmonger the Crossdressing Fiend! He was muscular, scrawny, evil, and sexy as fuck~ I just... This game... HRNG!

This word is an adjective meaning strong! Um... that's pretty self explanatory~~~~

So lately, I've been playing a LOT of Minecraft. With this game, I usually have periods of time where I play for 3~4 weeks on end, then I can go about 5 months without even thinking about it.
Minecraft, in case you don't know, is a sandbox game. Basically, you get thrown into a block world where you then must survive~ Build a shelter, collect resources, and kill enemies at night. I'm kind of a casual, because I prefer to play in creative mode- no enemies, unlimited resurces- and build Pokemon structures and re-create the TARDIS out of lapis lazuli and blue wool~
So today, I want to talk about my TOP 5 MINECRAFT MODS~ At least, my current favorites~
I will do a mod showcase for all of them! (Also... all of them are for version 1.6.4, unfortunately...)
#5: MrCrayfish's Furniture mod!
This mod adds ALL KINDS of AWESOME furniture! You get tables, chairs, a lamp, kitchen stuff, and a TON of other fun things~ Fences, bird baths... Y'know, all that "American Dream" shit~

It makes Minecraft a lot more homey, if you like that~ I do believe it requires Forge, at least, that's what I use. I'll add a tutorial on how to use Forge at some point in the future~ Also, the download link for Forge will be below~
#4: Too Many Items mod!
This mod is one that most Minecrafters who use mods enjoy~ I actually really like it! It's not my most favorite mod, but it does help me with builds when I feel like being a badass and rocking Survival mode, but I still wanna build cool stuff right away~

This mod lets you MORPH INTO ANYTHING YOU KILL! Let's say you kill a Creeper? Bam. You ARE a creeper. It's so cool, especially when paired with number 1 on my list~! I LOVE THIS MOD TO DEATH! SO BEAUTIFUL!

#2: Carpenter's Blocks mod!
This mod adds a TON of cool things~ Using it, you can make a shit ton of beautiful builds~! I don't quite know how to explain it, but it's AWESOME! You can give the colored clay blocks the texture of bricks! BLUE FUCKING BRICK! HELL YES!

All the love I have for this mod is just overflowing.
I can't even put into words how awesome this mod is.
Basically, it adds Pokemon to Minecraft!
You can catch them, evolve them, battle them, heal them, and spawn them! HRNG!
I DON'T CARE, I LOVE IT!
This mod is all the win! I'm actually building a map for my currently broken Pixelmon server.

They are currently working on version 3.0, and I check this blog every day so that I know when it comes out~ I'm addicted to this mod more than I care to admit!

Here's the download for Minecraft Forge~ Download the installer and change the directory to wherever Minecraft's game files are located. Typically this is in the appdata>.minecraft, which will be the default.

How to Celebrate Valentine's Day: The Fun NERDY Way!

Hello everyone, Aggroe here!
So tonight, I really want to talk about my views on Valentine's Day! Of course, that'll be after everything else~ But anyways, look forward to it! I'll be posting my next translation tomorrow, and my playthrough of Monster Girl Quest part 2 will be up soon. Also, I'll be doing Katawa Shoujo part 3 soon~ Enjoy!
So first, it's time for...

Day 2: Weapon!
My weapon would probably be Krystal's staff from Starfox Adventures! (Well... Fox uses it more than her. Meh. Still hers~)

Now I know, this game wasn't the best Starfox game... But it was my childhood, and as a 10 year old, my dream was to own this staff~ It functions like a bo staff, which I have training in, and it also shoots projectiles.

Day 3: Gadget!
My video game gadget would be the Plasmids from Bioshock. That's more of a piece of technology, but I think it works~

I mean come on, who DOESN'T want to shoot fire, lightning, and ice from their fingertips? And I suppose none of you have ever considered how AWESOME it would be to move things with your mind, just like Wonderboy and his mind bullets.

This is a yuri/loli that starts off... not really /forced/, but kinda. I mean, the kid didn't know what was going on and the strange sensations overwhelmed her. Anyways, it was pretty good~ Plain, but plain isn't always bad~

Finally, the daily dose of Japan!
So Japan was my second experience traveling out of America. As such, I made quite a few mistakes. I mean, if you don't make mistakes, how will you learn? The most embarrassing was when Sayaka-chan's younger brother went to school, and I had just woken up, still in a sleepy haze.
So when leaving the house, you say "ittekimasu!" and in response, the family members who hear you say "itterashai!" Basically meaning "I'm leaving" and "Take care!".
So in my sleepy haze, I had forgotten the response. As her younger brother leaves, he goes up to me, smiles, and adorably says "ittekimasu!" But... in my tired stupor I couldn't remember what to say! I really didn't want him to be upset with me, so I racked my brains as he repeated himself.
I did remember how to answer, though!
Of course, thanks to my luck, he had already left.
It was never brought up , and he still interacted with me and laughed...
I don't think I hurt his feelings.
Moral of the story, Japanese people are less likely to get angry at you for forgetting something from their language, especially if you, like me, are a foreigner. If you go to Japan, don't worry! Everyone loved me, so I'm sure you'll be fine~

 Now it's time for my Valentine's Day rant talk!
So Valentine's Day is almost here. If you're like me, you hope to spend the day working out and watching anime~ But what do you picture? Some perfect, romantic day with the boy/girl you love? Maybe you plan to go to a hotel and get busy, or maybe... just maybe, you hope for something like this.

In my opinion, a homemade gift, even if it's just a card, is better than spending 20 dollars on chocolates and flowers! But... Don't skimp on the balloons. Everyone loves balloons. Fuck everything else, I just want, like, hundreds of balloons to put on my ceiling.

Here are some homemade, nerdy ideas for gifts~

1. This one's pretty  cliche, but find out your significant other/crush's favorite 6 Pokemon. Then, collect them all and level them up to 100. Or whatever level you want... It's not the most important part~ Finally, name them in a way that it reads something romantic. For example, "Will you be mine, (first name and last name)?" Then, give them the game and hope that it works~
2. This is a Minecraft one that I've been toying with. In fact, I'll be using it to ask out my crush on the 14th~ Wish me luck!
Basically, build a structure you think they'll like... A castle, an underwater fortress made of glass, a floating island, or even just a quaint house on the hillside. Then, make a scavenger hunt where they have to find clues in chests that are accompanied by flowers or something. Also, find out their favorite mod and include that in there, if you'd like~
3. Pick your favorite romantic song, and make a video of yourself lipsyncing to the song! Ham it up, if you like~ If I did this, I'd probably pick the lines from the Pokemon theme, "It's you and me, I know it's (our) destiny! You teach me and I'll teach you, all day long~!" Or something.
4. If you have any artistic skill, draw a pairing that you ship kissing or something and use it as the cover for a card! If you can't draw to save your life, then find a cute picture of your OTP online and use that~ Or you can just make a plain, simple, romantic card in their favorite colors~
5. Finally, and this is the most important tip of them all... Find out what the other person likes and tailor your gift to that. Flowers and chocolates are way too generic. Similarly, if they don't like Doctor Who, then you probably shouldn't make something that says "This planet... These people... They may be important to the Doctor, but you're my world and I could care less about the rest."

You have no idea how long that took me to think up.
I'd also like to point out that Valentine's Day shouldn't just be a day about romance with your lover. In fact, you can still celebrate, even if you're single! This day is a day to celebrate everyone in your life that you love. Your parents, your friends, your family. Valentine's Day is sold by society as a day where you MUST be in a relationship, but that's not true! If you're happy being single, then enjoy it~ Being single means you don't have to worry about others, and that can be pretty fulfilling and helpful for personal growth~ Still, you don't have to just not celebrate.
Tell your friends and family how much you appreciate and love them! Let them know all about what they've done for you! Stop wallowing in sadness, and start celebrating the relationships you DO have; romantic or not~

Remember, you don't have to be cheesily romantic, either. I mean, the most romantic thing I've ever said to ANYONE was said to Anemone, a roommate and friend... It was "You're like a tumor I'm so emotionally attached to that I can't get rid of."
And I'm a Pisces. I find that funny somehow~
